What brings you to Inner Ray Space?
Maybe you're navigating a difficult transition and feel unmoored. Maybe the anxiety is so loud it's hard to hear your own thoughts. Or maybe you're carrying the weight of past trauma, and you're just tired of surviving and ready to start living.
Whatever brought you here, your feelings make sense. You've done nothing wrong by struggling — and you are in the right place.
Therapy that feels human, not clinical.
Healing shouldn't feel like sitting on a couch while someone dissects your life from a clipboard. That's not how we do things at Inner Ray Space.
We combine the warmth of a deeply supportive relationship with the clarity of proven, evidence-based tools. We do the hard work together, at a pace that feels safe for you.
How we can work together
Emotional Well-Being
Anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management. When your mind won't stop racing, we'll find practical, grounded ways to quiet the noise and help you feel like yourself again.
Relationships & Connection
Partnership challenges, family dynamics, communication and boundaries. We'll explore what's making closeness feel hard, and build a rhythm that works for the people in your life.
Identity & Self
Self-esteem, life transitions, and identity exploration. Navigating career changes, relationship shifts, or the quiet search for who you're meant to be.
Hi, I'm Nikita.
I created Inner Ray Space because I believe everyone deserves a place where they can take off the armour they wear for the rest of the world.
My core belief is simple: you are the ultimate expert on your own life. You already have the resilience and the answers inside you. My role isn't to hand you a solution — it's to walk alongside you, hold a safe, non-judgemental space, and help you uncover what's been buried.
While our work is deeply relational, it's also grounded in evidence-based practice. We won't just talk in circles; we'll actively build practical tools to help you regulate your nervous system and create real, lasting change.

The Intake
If we decide to work together, you'll get a gentle "getting to know you" form. You only share what you feel comfortable with.
The First Session
It feels like a partnership. There might be tears, and there will absolutely be moments of lightness and even laughter. It's your space to explore, heal, and figure out what you actually want out of this life.

Safety & Trust
Do I have to talk about my trauma in the first session?
Absolutely not. We'll only go as deep as you feel comfortable going. The first few sessions are about building trust and understanding your goals.
Is what we discuss kept completely confidential?
Yes, absolutely. Your privacy and trust are paramount. What we discuss stays strictly between us. There are only a few rare, legally mandated exceptions (such as an imminent risk of harm to yourself or others), which we will clearly and gently discuss together at the very beginning. Your safe space is protected.
What if we meet and it doesn't feel like the right fit?
That's completely okay, and it happens. Fit matters more than anything in this work, and I'm glad to help you think through other options if I'm not the right person for what you need.
Cultural Understanding
Do you understand the cultural and family dynamics specific to India?
Yes. Navigating mental health, boundaries, and personal growth within the context of Indian family structures and societal expectations can be uniquely complex. My practice is deeply culturally sensitive, and we will always honor your specific background, values, and lived experiences in our work.
Virtual Therapy
Is virtual therapy actually effective?
Yes. Research shows that telehealth is just as effective as in-person therapy for anxiety, depression, and trauma. It also allows you to heal in the comfort of your own safe space.
How does virtual therapy actually work, day to day?
We meet over video call at a time that suits you, in whatever space feels private and comfortable. You'll need a quiet spot and a stable internet connection — nothing else.
What We'll Work On
Do you work with couples, or just individuals?
While my primary focus is individual therapy, I do offer sessions for couples or partners navigating relationship challenges and communication blocks. If you are looking for broader family therapy, please reach out, and we can discuss if my specific approach is the right match for your dynamic.
How long does therapy usually take?
There is no one-size-fits-all timeline. Some people find significant relief in a few months, while others prefer longer-term support for deeper, more complex healing. We will regularly check in on your goals and pace, ensuring we're always moving in a direction that feels right and sustainable for you.
Practical Details
Do you take insurance?
I'm an out-of-network provider, but I can share a monthly statement you can submit for possible reimbursement.
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens, and I understand that sometimes things come up unexpectedly. I simply ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule. This allows me to offer that time to someone else who may be waiting, and it helps us maintain a consistent, grounding rhythm in our work.
What should I do if I'm in crisis between sessions?
Therapy is a deeply supportive space, but it is not a 24/7 emergency service. If you ever find yourself in an immediate crisis, please contact local emergency services or a dedicated crisis helpline (such as the Vandrevala Foundation or Kiran). We will also work together to create a personalized, grounded safety plan during our early sessions.
